As winter slowly comes to an end, local library branches in Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus Counties are offering craft opportunities for kids and teens to “spring into crafts.” The Citrus County Library System, which serves Inverness, Crystal River, and other surrounding areas, has announced a series of craft events for children and teenagers.
Inverness and other local library branches are participating in the craft events, providing a chance for young people to engage in creative activities. While specific details about the events, such as dates and times, were not provided, the libraries are encouraging kids and teens to participate. Additionally, for those in need of warmth during the remaining cold winter nights, the Cold Weather Shelter will be open on Monday and Tuesday nights, March 16 and 17.
The Citrus County Chronicle reported that the Cold Weather Shelter’s schedule is crucial for vulnerable populations during chilly nights. More information about library events can be found by visiting the Citrus County Library System’s website or contacting local branches directly.
Residents can also check with their local libraries in Brooksville, Spring Hill, Dade City, Hudson, Weeki Wachee, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey, and Crystal River for similar events and programs.
