An Inverness man was arrested Monday night after Citrus County deputies found dozens of dead animals at his Floral City property and learned he had fired a gun at a local bar.

According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, 59-year-old Michael Lee Wilson was taken into custody around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at his residence on Southeast 180th Avenue in Floral City. Deputies responded to a report of shots fired at the Red River Bar in Homosassa around 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
