Interactive comedy “Sin-ergy” debuts at Valerie Theatre in Inverness

Under Siege Enterprises presents the interactive comedy, “Sin-ergy,” written by Stefanie Austin, and opening March 20 at the Valerie Theatre in downtown Inverness, Citrus County, Florida. The show follows the antics of a misguided crew of would-be leaders at a leadership training event with the company name SIN-ergy. The cast includes Osario “Os” Duraes, Devin Hoke, Gayla Hence, Ophelia “Gutz” DeBarge, Sean Walsh, Elena Martinez, Allexis Wolfe, and Charles Niski, who plays the role of diva Paula Perry in drag.

The show’s plot takes a turn when things start going wrong from the start, including a bounced check, a speaker who bails out, and missing swag bags. Charles Niski, Under Siege producer and director of the show, finds that playing the role in drag requires “a lot of compression” and that “breasts can get in the way, and to be frank, are downright weird.” The actors must navigate the chaos and figure out how to salvage the conference.

The Valerie Theatre is located in downtown Inverness, and the show is set to run starting March 20. Tickets are expected to be available for purchase. For more information, visit the Valerie Theatre’s website or Under Siege Enterprises’ website.
