From pouring pints to brewing them: Local man’s journey

Austin Wright wasn’t planning on becoming a brewer, but life had other plans. The 28-year-old Odessa resident was working at a local bar, pouring pints and serving customers, when he discovered his passion for craft beer. It was around 10:30 a.m. on a typical Monday morning when Wright decided to take the leap and start his own brewing company.

Wright’s journey began with homebrewing, experimenting with different recipes and techniques in his garage. He spent countless hours perfecting his craft, attending brewing workshops, and joining online forums to connect with other brewers. His hard work paid off when he launched his own brewery, Wright’s Brewing Co., on January 15, 2023, at 123 Main St, Odessa, FL 34673.

The brewery quickly gained popularity among locals, with customers raving about Wright’s unique beer flavors and commitment to using only the finest ingredients. Wright’s Brewing Co. has become a staple in the Pasco County community, hosting events and sponsoring local charities. When asked about his success, Wright credited his team and the support of his family and friends. “It’s been a dream come true,” he said. “I’m grateful to be living my passion and sharing it with the community.”

For those interested in learning more about Wright’s Brewing Co. or sampling their latest beers, the brewery is open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
