Four teenagers have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Inverness Citgo, located at 2050 E. State Road 44, Inverness, Citrus County, Florida, on Monday night, January 15, 2026, around 10:30 p.m.
The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office reported that the four teens, ages 15, 16, 17, and 18, were taken into custody after an investigation into the robbery. The suspects allegedly entered the Citgo store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. No injuries were reported during the incident. The teens have been charged with armed robbery and are being held at the Citrus County Detention Center.
The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident and is working to determine if there were any additional suspects involved. The names of the teens have not been released due to their ages.
