Four Severely Hurt in Lecanto RV Explosion

Four people, including two children, were severely injured in an RV explosion in Lecanto on Monday night, fire officials said. The blast occurred around 10:30 p.m. at 5345 S. Pine Ave., according to the Citrus County Fire Department.

The victims, whose names have not been released, were taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. The cause of the explosion is under investigation. The RV was reportedly occupied by a family at the time of the blast. The Citrus County Fire Department responded to the scene and assisted in providing medical aid and transportation to the hospital.
