Explore Cryptids at the Library

The Citrus County Public Library in Inverness is hosting a series of events in March to explore the world of cryptids, including Bigfoot, Skunk Ape, and Chupacabra. The events are free and open to the public, with presentations and discussions scheduled for March 12 and 26.

The library will feature a presentation on March 12 at 6:30 PM, where attendees can learn about the legends and myths surrounding these mysterious creatures. The presentation will cover the history and folklore of Bigfoot, Skunk Ape, and Chupacabra, as well as modern-day sightings and encounters.

Some of the cryptids that will be covered include:

  1. Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, a legendary creature said to inhabit forests in the Pacific Northwest
  2. Skunk Ape, a creature reportedly seen in the swamps of Florida, similar to Bigfoot
  3. Chupacabra, a legendary creature said to inhabit parts of the Americas, known for allegedly draining the blood of livestock
