Families in Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus counties are gearing up for Easter celebrations with various egg hunts and activities scheduled from March 28 through April 4. Local organizations and communities are hosting events to bring families together for Easter fun.
Citrus County has several events lined up. On March 28, the Citrus County Library in Inverness is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 10:30 a.m. The event is free and open to children of all ages. On March 30, the Withlacoochee River Park in Dunnellon will have an Easter egg hunt starting at 10 a.m. The park will also offer kayak and bike rentals for those looking to enjoy the outdoors.
In Pasco County, the City of New Port Richey is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 at 8:30 a.m. at the New Port Richey Recreation Center, located at 11420 Pithlachascotee Road. The event is free and open to children aged 12 and under.
In Hernando County, the Brooksville Regional Library is hosting a Bunny Bash on April 1 at 10:30 a.m., featuring an Easter egg hunt, crafts, and games for kids.
