Deputies seize fentanyl, meth in Crystal River raid; 2 arrested

Deputies with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office seized a large quantity of fentanyl and methamphetamine during a raid in Crystal River on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, around 10:30 a.m. at 851 NW 6th Ave, Crystal River. Two people were arrested during the operation.

The suspects, 32-year-old Jeremiah Ray Proctor and 28-year-old Ashley Nicole Williams, both of Crystal River, were taken into custody and charged with various drug-related offenses. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the residence, where they found and seized the narcotics, as well as drug paraphernalia and other evidence.

The investigation was led by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The case is ongoing, and more charges may be pending as the investigation continues.
