The Cold Weather Shelter will be open on Monday and Tuesday nights, March 16 and 17, to provide relief from the chilly weather.
Citrus County residents can seek refuge at the shelter, located at 915 S. Pine Ave., Inverness. The shelter will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. on both nights, offering a warm and safe space for those in need.
The shelter is a collaborative effort between local organizations to provide a safe haven for vulnerable populations during extreme weather conditions. Residents can contact the Citrus County Department of Social Services at (352) 749-3340 for more information.
