A Cold Weather Shelter will be open in Citrus County from Sunday to Tuesday, February 22-24, to provide relief to those in need during the cold weather.
The shelter will be located at the Citrus County Health Department, 806 S. Pine Ave, Citrus Springs, and will be open from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM each night. The shelter is a collaborative effort between the Citrus County Health Department, the American Red Cross, and other local organizations to provide a safe and warm place for individuals and families who may be experiencing homelessness or are in need of temporary housing.
