The “BOOKED” fundraiser is back at the newly renovated Citrus County Public Library in Crystal River. The event aims to support the library’s programs and services.
The Citrus County Chronicle reported that the fundraiser is part of the library’s efforts to engage the community and promote literacy. The library recently underwent renovations and is eager to host events that bring people together. The “BOOKED” fundraiser is a popular event that features books, authors, and literary-themed activities.
In the meantime, residents in need of shelter from the cold can visit the Cold Weather Shelter on Monday and Tuesday nights, March 16 and 17. The shelter will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. at the Citrus County Homeless Coalition, located at 4135 SE 58th Drive, Crystal River.
