A 24-year-old Hudson man, Logan Pineda, was arrested Thursday evening after fatally striking a bicyclist in Tampa. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Pineda was driving a Tesla Y Model on Parkwood Street in Hudson at around 9 p.m. on February 19.
The victim’s identity has not been released. Pineda is charged with hit-and-run. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. The Tampa area has seen a rise in hit-and-run cases in recent years, with local authorities urging drivers to remain at the scene of accidents and exchange information.
